Community-wide Special Events
The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, including annual favorites such as
Bark In the Park,
Arbor Day, Polar Bear Plunge, and our Southern Nevada Trails Day Celebration. These events are designed to bring the community together while enjoying the many benefits of parks and recreation.
Neighborhood Events
Our recreation centers, pools, parks, and facilities also host dozens of neighborhood events every month, ranging from bounce house afternoons and Dive-In Movie nights to organized trail hikes and seasonal events for children, such as Flashlight Egg Hunt and Trunk or Treat.
