Leadership Day

10am-1pm, Wednesday Free for Henderson high school students with an RSVP
Leadership Day is an annual event for high school students hosted by the Henderson Blue Ribbon Commission. The event is an educational seminar that emphasizes leadership, responsibility and personal choices for teens in the community. Breakout sessions and speakers enhance the learning experience. This year’s theme is “Step Up!” Denise Klein, founder of Success Equations 5, is the featured speaker. RSVP to (702) 267-4016. High school students only.

Egg Dive
April 19, Whitney Ranch Activity Pool, 1575 C Galleria Dr.
1pm-3:30pm, Saturday
Take part in the Egg Dive, our annual underwater egg hunt! Dozens of colorful eggs are hiding along the bottom of the pool. The swimmer who finds the most (in each age group) wins a prize. Bring a basket to hold your eggs. Children under the age of 8 and those requiring life jackets must be accompanied and supervised by an adult within arm’s reach at all times. All ages. $5 per person.

Spring Carnival
April 19, Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, 1575 Galleria Dr.
1pm-4pm, Saturday
Celebrate the season by spending the afternoon at our all-new Spring Carnival. The event features plenty of activities for the whole family, including carnival games, bounce houses, face painting and refreshments. While you’re here, have your picture taken with our big bunny to commemorate the occasion. All ages. $3 per person.
