Overview
The 6-acre McCullough Vista Park will be located at the northwest corner of Greenway and Mission
roads, providing panoramic views of the McCullough Mountains. The park will provide open space and services for pedestrians, runners and bicyclists that can be used for rest, relaxation and recreation.
With Mannion Middle School and Smalley Elementary School nearby, it is expected that the park will also be used by students in the area.
History
Set in one of the more established areas of Henderson, neighboring communities of the proposed park site did not develop in a master-planned form with sufficient open space for residents’ needs. The park is a much needed addition to this growing area.
