Overview
Heritage Park is a 160-acre multi-use campus-style site located on Racetrack Road and Burkholder Boulevard, adjacent to Burkholder Trail. Heritage Park will be completed in several phases. The facilities within
the campus have been certified gold by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green building rating system, which promotes a whole building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.
History
The City of Henderson East Side Plan identified the site to provide open space and serve as a buffer for development. Project partners include the Clark County School District, Bureau of Land Management, and NV Energy.
