The center provides a variety of social services to help seniors in accessing a broad range of community services. We offer
guidance with energy assistance, care management services, food commodities, information and referral. Free monthly workshops on a variety of pertinent senior topics
and a caregiver support group are also offered. Call (702) 267-4156 for more

The Black Mountain Nutrition Program
This program provides healthy balanced meals, both congregate and homebound, for seniors
in the community. Lunch is served at the Senior Center
from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, Monday-Friday. The suggested donation for those 60 and over is $1.50; there is a $3 charge for those under 60. Meals on Wheels delivers meals Monday-Friday to qualifying homebound seniors. Call (702) 267-4160 for more information.
Henderson Seniors' Auxiliary
The nonprofit Henderson Seniors' Auxiliary provides meals on the weekends. On Saturdays, brunch
is served from 9:00 to 11:00 am; there is a $2.00 charge for these meals. On Sundays, lunch is served from noon to 1:30 pm;
there is a $3.00 charge for
these meals.

The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department offers a myriad of
volunteer opportunities:
The City of Henderson Senior Center volunteer program works hand in hand with
the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) to connect those who wish to use
their time and talents to help others. Pick up an application at the Senior
Center. Orientation is at 1:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month.
