Caregiver Support Group
Participate in an ongoing support group that provides education, emotional support, and resources for family caregivers.

Grief and Loss Support Group
Participate in an ongoing support group for those suffering the loss of a loved one through death or other major loss. Receive emotional support and learn how to process grief in a safe and healing environment. Facilitated by New Hope Hospice staff, Rev. John Jordan or Julie Santose, MSW.

Henderson Vision Support Group
The group provides educational speakers, coping skills and resources for people with low or no vision. Facilitated by Vicki Rudolph.

Lawyers from the Las Vegas Senior Law Project provide quality legal services to residents of Clark County ages 60 and above. It’s a presentation-style format about services available, then a question-and-answer session. Private sessions are available. Call (702) 229-6596 before the meeting.

State Health Insurance Advisory Program (SHIP)
30-minute appointments available; third Thursday of the month
Administered through the Aging and Disability Services Division, the program supplies information about Medicare and related health benefits. Trained volunteers provide information on enrolling or changing Medicare Part D and inform individuals on changes in Medicare policy. Call (702) 267-2956 for appointments. SHIP (702) 486-3478.
Senior Transportation
Transportation is offered by the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department from your home to and from Heritage Park Senior Facility. For more information or to schedule a ride, call (702) 267-4163. The cost is $1 round trip. Rides may be purchased in advance at a discounted rate. Obtain your application at the front desk.
Referrals are made to appropriate outside service agencies as needed, including but not limited to, programs addressing senior housing assistance, utility assistance programs and commodity food programs.
