Volunteer Levels Trail Adopter: A group or individual volunteer who provide a positive presence on a dedicated section of trail. Trail Adopters spend time on the trail, provide information, assist trail users, report their time and observations, and provide routine cleanups of their trail section. The information and observations volunteers provide will assist the Henderson Parks and Recreation Department and the Henderson Police Department to maintain safety on Henderson trails.
How to Apply You may also drop off your application in person to the Outdoor Recreation Office at Valley View Recreation Center at 500 Harris Street. TrainingOnce your completed application has been processed, you will be contacted with training information. All Henderson Trail Watch volunteers are required to attend a one hour training class. The training class will provide the volunteers with the tools and information to make their time on the trail successful.
