Closure Notices
We have a number of active construction projects in progress (parks, trails, etc.). Residents are reminded that sites under construction are closed to the public for safety reasons. For questions, please call us at 267-4000.

Heritage Park Senior Facility will be open 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on May 13.

All City of Henderson pools will close May 18 at 4:00 p.m., May 19 at 1:00 p.m., and May 25 at 5:30 p.m.

Henderson Multigenerational Center/Aquatic Complex (recreation center and pools) will open one hour later than usual on Tuesday, May 22. Hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Whitney Ranch Recreation Center will be closed for maintenance June 4-10. Normal hours will resume on Monday, June 11.

The Henderson Multigenerational Competition Pool will be closed all day Saturday, June 9, due to a swim meet.

Starting Feb. 1, Pittman Wash Trail will be closed for improvements between Pebble Road and Arroyo Grande Park until summer 2012.

The east entrance to Arroyo Grande Sports Complex off of American Pacific Drive is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic starting Jan. 30 until summer 2012, for construction work and improvements. The west entrance will remain open, and there will be pedestrian access from the parking lot to the Sports office. A portion of the parking lot at Arroyo Grande Boulevard off of Santiago Drive will also be closed, but the parking lot will remain accessible to pedestrians and vehicles. For customer convenience, the Sports office will have staff available at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy., starting Jan. 30 until further notice.

Due to copper wire theft at Tuscany Park, the skate park will be open only during daylight hours until repairs can be made.

River Mountains Loops Trail is closed for construction between mile marker 8.5 and mile marker 11. Cyclists will need to detour onto Lake Mead Parkway during this phase of construction. Closure signs are posted on the trail.

The rock wall at the Henderson Multigenerational Center is closed until further notice.
