Closure Notices
We have a number of active construction projects in progress (parks, trails, etc.). Residents are reminded that sites under construction are closed to the public for safety reasons. For questions, please call us at 267-4000.
The all-dogs area at Hidden Falls Park will be closed for maintenance June 3 - July 7.
The dog park at Dos Escuelas Park will be closed June 4-18 for renovations.
Dog park #1 at Acacia Park will be closed for maintenance June 3-30.
The all-dog enclosure at the Bark Park at Heritage Park will be closed for maintenance June 7-31.
The small dog enclosure at the Bark Park at Heritage Park will be closed for maintenance July 1-28.
The large dog enclosure at the Bark Park at Heritage Park will be closed for maintenance July 29-August 24.
The skate park at Hidden Falls Park is temporarily closed due to infrastructure issues. It will remain closed for safety reasons until repairs can be made.
Pittman Wash Trail isclosed for improvements between Pebble Road and Arroyo Grande Park until further notice.
River Mountains Loop Trail is closed for construction between mile marker 8.5 and mile marker 11. Cyclists must detour onto Lake Mead Parkway during this phase of construction. Closure signs are posted on the trail.
The lights at Siena Heights Trailhead are not operational. During this time, the trailhead is only open during daylight hours and closes at dusk. We are expecting they'll be repaired soon.
The rock walls at the Henderson Multigenerational Center and Downtown Recreation Center are closed until further notice.
