Launches FunCard Gift Card
HENDERSON, Nev. --The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is now offering parks and recreation gift cards just in time for the holiday season. Called the FunCard, the gift cards may be purchased at any City of Henderson recreation center in any denomination, starting at $5.
FunCards can be redeemed online or at any recreation center to register for most City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department programs, including Safekey and Kids Zone. Cards can also be used to purchase Healthy Henderson memberships, fitness room memberships, Swim & Trim passes, and merchandise at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve. The cards will be available for sale year-round.
“Over the last year or so, we’ve received many requests for parks and recreation gift certificates. And grandparents regularly ask if there is a way they can pay in advance for a grandchild’s sports activities and recreation classes. Now the FunCard makes it possible,” said Kim Becker, Communications and Marketing supervisor, City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department. “Perhaps the most convenient feature is the ability to redeem the cards when registering online. In fact, more than 90 percent of all registration is made online.”
