Input Meeting To Launch Plans for Paradise Pointe Park on Oct. 13

HENDERSON, Nev. – The City of Henderson is hosting a public meeting to present and receive comments on a preliminary concept master plan for the future Paradise Pointe Park from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, on the site of the future park, located at Archer Glen Avenue and Horizon Ridge Parkway.

The future neighborhood park sits on 5.65 acres and will serve more than 4,500 residents who live within a half-mile of the site. The park’s location puts it in close proximity to Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands.

A portion of the funding for the project has been provided by the BLM through the sale of public lands as authorized by the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act (SNPLMA).The City of Henderson has been awarded more than $235 million in SNPLMA funding for more than 30 parks and trails projects, which has helped the city keep pace with an increasing demand for outdoor recreation opportunities in the community.
