Henderson Pools Hosting Family-Friendly Candy Cane Hunt

HENDERSON, Nev.— The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an aquatic candy cane hunt from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 at Henderson Multigenerational Indoor Pool, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy., and from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, at Whitney Ranch Indoor Pool, 1575 C Galleria Dr. Admission to either event is free for children ages 2 and under; $1 for youth and teens (ages 3-17), $2 for adults (18-49), $1 for adults 50+ at the door, or use a Parks and Recreation Department Swim & Trim pass.

Santa may have dropped his candy canes while swimming in the pools. Families are invited to participate to search for all of the missing canes. The swimmer at each location who finds the most candy canes wins a prize. Children must be accompanied by an adult and must know how to swim.
