Free Bus Tour Explores Existing and Upcoming Parks, Trails In Henderson
HENDERSON, Nev. – The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is
hosting a free bus tour that highlights current and upcoming parks and trails on
the east side of Henderson. The bus departs from Valley View Recreation Center
(500 Harris St.) at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 18. The two-hour tour is open to
participants 14 years of age and up, and registration is required to ensure
seating is available. Register online at cityofhenderson.com (activity
603071-58) or at any City of Henderson recreation center.
The tour will highlight popular parks and trails, such as Equestrian Park and
River Mountains Loop Trail, and introduce those under construction or undergoing
improvements, including Heritage Park, UPRR trail and Downs 5/Downtown Trail
connections.
