Families Prepare to Get Haunted At the Ranch

HENDERSON, Nev. – With Halloween just around the corner, there has been ghostly activity at Whitney Ranch Indoor Pool, 1575 C Galleria Dr., in anticipation of Haunted At the Ranch, an aquatic event that brings families together in the spirit of festive Halloween fun. The event takes place 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28. Admission to the all-ages event is $5 per person at the door or by registering at cityofhenderson.com/parks (activity code 436614-00). Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

The event includes an evening of swimming, games, bounce houses, and a haunted house tour. Participants should bring a blank pillowcase for a hands-on bag-decorating craft activity.

“Last year’s event was so popular that we’re adding some festive new twists to this year’s event, such as the haunted house tour,” said Trevor Snow, Aquatics supervisor, City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department. “It’s the kind of event that keeps kids engaged and gets them excited for Halloween.”
