Registration Opens for City of Henderson Parks
and Recreation Department Adult Softball Leagues
HENDERSON, Nev. – Registration for the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department’s adult softball leagues will be accepted Aug. 2-Sept. 17. Registration is $450 per team and must be made in person at the Sports office, located at Arroyo Grande Sports Complex, 298 Arroyo Grande Blvd., from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. weekdays or from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
The program promotes wellness, physical activity and social interaction through recreational play that is provided in a safe and positive environment. Three divisions of play are available: E division, for casual and novice players and organizations seeking to build camaraderie; D division, for players at a higher skill and competition level; and D1 division, for tournament-caliber players.
Fall season play begins the week of Oct. 4, and all divisions play a 7-week season consisting of 14 games, which are held at Arroyo Grande Sports Complex, Anthem Hills Park, and Russell Road Recreation Complex. All leagues are sanctioned by the United States Specialty Sports Association.
