Nov. 12 Fall Carnival Night at Heritage Park Aquatic Complex
HENDERSON, Nev.—The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Fall Carnival Night at Heritage Park Aquatic Complex, 310 S. Racetrack Rd., from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12. Admission is $1-$2 per person at the door. It is for people of all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult in and around the water.
Fall Carnival Night features a variety of family-friendly activities, including fall-themed carnival games, turkey decorating contests, and swimming. Some participants may win a turkey. Admission includes plenty of popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones. Aquatics staff will also discuss the importance of fall and winter water safety.
“Our Fall Carnival Night brings neighbors together for an enjoyable evening at the pool,” said Angela Hester, Aquatics supervisor, City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department. “But it’s also an opportunity for our Aquatics staff to remind people about the importance of water safety. Water safety should be a year-round concern, not just in the summer months.”
