Kid Fiddlers Family Band To Perform on Nov. 13
HENDERSON, Nev.— The Kid Fiddlers family band will perform at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, at Heritage Park Senior Facility, 300 S. Racetrack Rd. Tickets are $8 per person and can be purchased online at cityofhenderson.com (activity 154079-78). A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. The all-ages concert is hosted by the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department.
The band features Toni Jackson (bass) and her five children: Tess (19), fiddle, mandolin, banjo, piano, and drums; Grayden (17), fiddle, piano guitar; Mikinzie (15), fiddle, piano, mandolin, and drums; Zach (13), fiddle, piano, guitar, and drums; and Skyler (8), fiddle and piano.
Kid Fiddlers has earned national acclaim for their country/western instrumentation, three-part harmonies, comedy, and spirited clogging. They have performed across the United States and throughout Europe, spreading a positive message and encouraging children to learn how to play an instrument.
“Our audience will enjoy the Kid Fiddlers’ unique brand of old-time and contemporary country songs and spirited performance,” said Cindy Rogers, Recreation program coordinator, City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department. “These children are gifted entertainers, and I think people will especially enjoy watching Skyler take center stage to sing and yodel. She’s a seasoned performer yet she’s only eight years old.”
