Free Educational Forum Discusses Medical Bill Auditing
HENDERSON, Nev.—The City of Henderson Senior Citizens Advisory Commission is hosting a free forum on medical billing auditing at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy. The forum will be presented by representatives from Universal Solutions, a division of Strategic Collection Management, a medical bill resolution advocate.
They will discuss medical bill overcharges, misapplied charges, and duplicate bill charges. According to Universal Solutions, as much as 90 percent of all medical claims contain errors.
The Henderson Senior Citizens Advisory Commission is comprised of appointed citizen volunteers who make recommendations to the City Council on issues of interest to senior citizens and others. The commission hosts a free educational forum every other month.
