City of Henderson Welcomes Team France Olympic Synchronized Swimming Team to Heritage Park
HENDERSON, Nev.— The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the Team France Olympic Synchronized Swimming Team at Heritage Park Aquatic Complex, 310 S. Racetrack Rd. on Saturday, Nov. 13. The public is invited to watch the team perform at 4:30 p.m. Admission is free for all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult.
Athletes from the City’s synchronized swimming program will be available prior to the performance starting at 3:30 p.m. to talk about the sport and answer questions about the City’s recreational program.
“Synchronized swimming is a sport that requires not only grace and artistry, but also strength and endurance,” said Brittany Reid, pool manager, City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department. “France has an outstanding team and their visit offers Henderson residents an opportunity to see the sport first hand and to enjoy the artistry.” Reid said the French team will also be practicing at Heritage Park Aquatic Complex from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14, and spectators are welcome.
