The City of Henderson Commemorative Beautification Commission’s 2011 Outdoor Holiday Decorating Contest is a great way to show off your community pride and light up this special season. It’s also a perfect project for the entire family to enjoy. So, pull out your Santas, sleds, reindeer, wreaths - and don’t forget the lights! The contest is open to residential single family homes within Henderson city limits.

Awards will be handed out at the awards ceremony at 6:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9 at the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 Water. St.

Entry Deadline (limited to first 50 received) Thursday, Nov. 17 at 5:00 p.m.

Preliminary judging is Monday-Tuesday, Nov. 28-29, 6:00-10:00 p.m.

On the night of judging, Monday, Dec. 5, please turn all your holiday lights on at 5:30 p.m. and leave them on until midnight.
