Two Suspects Charged in Auto Break-in Spree

August 21, 2014

Henderson, Nev. – Two 21-year-old men already in the Henderson Detention Center on charges of breaking into a car and stealing a gun were charged late Wednesday with six additional burglaries spanning a two-week crime spree.

Dallas Creswell and Cory Quenzler were originally arrested on August 13 and charged with burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy. As detectives continued the investigation, they found other victims dating back to July 30 and continuing until the spree ended with the arrest of the pair last week.

The pair is accused of driving around searching for open vehicles and stealing items of value inside. They are accused of starting the spree in the Green Valley Parkway-Warm Springs Road area and then moving to the Anthem area prior to being arrested.

While the suspects were charged Wednesday with five additional incidents, detectives believe the pair could be involved in other vehicle break-ins. The investigation is continuing.

Auto burglaries often are crimes of opportunity. Try to make your car a harder target.
