April 30, 2014

WHAT: #Flashback Series featuring The Atomic Punks – The Tribute to Early Van Halen

WHEN: Saturday, May 3 at 8 p.m.

WHERE: Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. Green Valley Pkwy.

It has been 30 years since the release of Van Halen’s most successful album 1984, and in honor of this, the Atomic Punks, who were featured on AXS TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands, perform the band’s legendary hits from the platinum record and other favorites from the David Lee Roth era at the Henderson Pavilion as part of the #Flashback Series. Tickets are $10.

1984 is the final full-length album to feature the original members of Van Halen, including front man Roth. As the No. 2 album on the Billboard charts, behind Michael Jackson’s Thriller, the record contains several unforgettable singles, including “Panama,” “I’ll Wait,” and the No. 1 smash and popular sports anthem, “Jump.”
