Ring In Spring At Whitney Ranch Carnival and Egg Dive

Henderson, Nev. Celebrate the season at a Spring Carnival and Egg Dive hosted by Whitney Ranch Recreation Center/Aquatic Complex, 1575 Galleria Dr., on Saturday, April 19. The carnival takes place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the recreation center and is $3 per person. The Egg Dive takes place from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the outdoor activity pool. Participation is $5 per person. Register in advance at any recreation center or indoor pool or online at (activity code 151151 for the carnival; 136700 for the Egg Dive).

The all-new Spring Carnival features activities for the whole family, including carnival games, bounce houses, face painting and refreshments. Participants may also have their photos taken with a bunny mascot to commemorate the occasion.

The Egg Dive is an underwater egg hunt with dozens of colorful eggs up for grabs along the bottom of the pool. The swimmer who finds the most eggs (by age category) wins a prize. Children under the age of 8 and those requiring life jackets must be accompanied and supervised by an adult within arm’s reach at all times. Swimmers are encouraged to bring baskets to hold their eggs.
