Henderson Police Apprehend Suspected Target Store Thief

Henderson, Nev. – A 30-year-old Las Vegas man was arrested February 5 in connection with five incidents of theft at two Target retail stores.
Harold Joseph Michael is accused of stealing items from the Target stores at 605 N. Stephanie St. and 350 W. Lake Mead Pkwy. Henderson Police detectives continue to investigate and believe the suspect may also be connected to a series of thefts from Target stores in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas.
Henderson Police officers apprehended the suspect in the area of Lake Mead Parkway and Boulder Highway. He is charged with burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny, conspiracy and possession of burglary tools.
Target loss prevention staff noted an increase in retail thefts from Henderson stores starting in late November 2013. Small electronics were among the most common items stolen. Target stores suffered thousands of dollars in loss as a result of these thefts.
