Henderson, Nev. – A 42-year-old Henderson man was arrested Friday in connection with four retail and convenience store robberies.
The suspect attempted to rob a Henderson Target at about 2 p.m. but fled when confronted by loss prevention staff. He was followed to Palm Villas apartments at 650 Whitney Ranch Dr. by an off-duty Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department corrections officer, who called police.
Henderson patrol officers responded and established a perimeter before taking Brandon Sprout into custody. A search warrant was served and detectives found evidence that links the suspect to four open robberies that occurred between December 13, 2013 and January 3, 2014.

No one was injured during any of the robberies.
The suspect is accused of robbing a Metro Pizza on December 13, a Rebel Oil on December 21, a Target on December 27 and a Walgreens on January 3. Detectives continue to investigate the robberies.
