Henderson Job Fair Showcases Aquatic Job Opportunities

Henderson, Nev. – The City of Henderson is hosting an Aquatics Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 at Whitney Ranch Aquatic Complex, 1575 C Galleria Dr., for people interested in learning more about being part of a premier team. Individuals ages 16 and up are encouraged to attend to learn about the types of jobs available, most of which offer flexible scheduling. Participants are encouraged to submit an application online in advance at cityofhenderson.com.
Open part-time, year-round and seasonal positions may include lifeguards, water safety instructors, senior recreation assistants (no certification required) and recreation assistants (no certification required).
Individuals who are already certified lifeguards are asked to bring proof of certification and arrive prepared for an interview and in-water skills test. Those who are not certified should arrive prepared for an interview and in-water skills test to see if they are good candidates for the city’s American Red Cross Lifeguard Training program. The training program is offered on a variety of dates and times at many of the city’s pools.
