The parade features more than 80 entries decorated to the theme, “Let’s Go to the Market,” a nod to the 15th anniversary of the Henderson Farmer’s Market. The top three floats receive cash prizes. In addition, the public is invited to vote for their favorite parade entry by simply scanning a special QR code using their smart phones. The entry with the most votes wins the People’s Choice Award and $500 in prize money. The QR code is available for download along the parade route and in the parade program.
