City of Henderson Seeks Participants for Community Expo
Businesses invited to showcase health and safety products and services

The city of Henderson Fire and Police Departments are seeking businesses and non-profit organizations to participate in the Henderson Community Expo 2014. Participants should offer products and services to the community that promote health and wellness, fire and crime prevention, and public safety. Interactive demonstrations and activities that appeal to all age groups are encouraged. Registration deadline is Monday, September 22.
WHAT: Henderson Community Expo 2014
WHEN: Saturday, October 18, 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
WHERE: Galleria at Sunset, 1300 W. Sunset Rd., North Parking Lot
WHY: Henderson Community Expo 2014 combines three previous events into one: Community Health and Safety Expo, National Night Out, and City Hall at the Mall. Henderson Fire and Police will demonstrate health and safety apparatus, and city staff will be on-hand to interact with residents who are looking for information about city services, programs and projects.
There is a registration fee of $75 that includes one 10-foot by 10-foot tent canopy, one 8-foot table and two chairs. The fee is waived for non-profit organizations. Registration forms are available at cityofhenderson.com.
