City of Henderson Invites Residents and Businesses to Get READY! Stay READY!

The city of Henderson invites residents and business owners to a presentation on how to prepare for any type of disaster.
WHAT: Get READY! Stay READY! Emergency Preparedness Presentation
WHEN: Thursday, May 8, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
WHERE: Henderson Fire Training Center, 401 Parkson Rd.
WHY: Like any other community, Henderson is not immune to disasters. Residents, business owners, local government and visitors must all work together to plan and prepare for disasters.
Get READY! Stay READY! presentation attendees will learn about the different types of disasters that can strike, how to prepare for an emergency, how to get involved and what resources are available before and after a disaster.
Attendees will also learn valuable tips from the National Weather Service for spotting and reporting hazardous weather conditions such as thunderstorms, floods, tornados and extreme heat.
