Henderson, Nev. – Meet the people behind the badge at the Henderson Police Department’s latest “Talk Shop with Cops” community meeting and learn more about what officers are doing to help keep the community safe.
Henderson Police will host “Talk Shop with the Cops” on Tuesday, July 23, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, 1575 Galleria Dr.
“We want the community to know what we are doing to help make our city safe,” Henderson Police Chief Patrick Moers said. “These meetings give us another chance to hear residents’ concerns and continue to work together.”
This event will focus on activities and issues such as traffic, crime trends and neighborhood safety specific to the North Area Command. Henderson Police will hold a “Talk Shop with Cops” meeting in the East Area Command in September. A meeting was held in the West Area Command in April.
The meeting on Tuesday, July, 23, will be hosted by Capt. Marc Cassell of the North Area Command. A question and answer period will be held after the presentations. Chief Moers encourages residents to attend the meeting for the opportunity to share with the Police Department their thoughts and concerns on crime and other issues in their neighborhoods.
We encourage all members of the community to come out and discuss issues and solutions.
