Henderson, Nev. – A new online application makes it easier for Henderson businesses to apply and pay for new a business license. The new convenient online process saves business owners from having to make a trip to city hall. Business owners can still also submit their application for a new license in person at city hall if they prefer.

Business license applicants can find the online form by clicking on the “Online Services” tab at cityofhenderson.com. Applicants will receive notification when their application has been received and accepted. They will then be directed how to pay for their license fees. The online process may not be available for some business license categories as they may require the applicant to appear in person at city hall.

Approximately 2,300 applications for new licenses are received each year and there are nearly 10,500 current active business licenses in Henderson. Coupling the new online application with the multi-jurisdictional business license launched last June, contractors in Henderson can secure a new business license with Clark County and the cities of Henderson, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas without even leaving their home or business.

For more information on Henderson business licenses, call the Business License Center at (702) 267-1730 or visit cityofhenderson.com.
