Henderson Seasonal Pools Set To Open

Henderson, Nev. City of Henderson seasonal pools will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday through Monday, May 25-27 for Memorial Day weekend swimming enjoyment. The pools will also be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2. Pools will open for the summer swim season on Friday, June 7.

Starting Friday, June 7, seasonal pool hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m., seven days a week. Seasonal pools include Black Mountain Aquatic Complex, 599 Greenway Rd.; BMI Outdoor Swimming Pool, 105 W. Basic Rd.; Henderson Multigenerational Activity Pool, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy.; Silver Springs Outdoor Swimming Pool, 1951 Silver Springs Pkwy.; Wells Outdoor Swimming Pool, 1640 Price St.; and Whitney Ranch Activity Pool, 1575 Galleria Dr.

The city of Henderson also has four pools available year round for swimming, water fitness programs and lessons. Hours are 5 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Year-round pools include: Henderson Multigenerational Competition Pool, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy. (closed on Sundays); Henderson Multigenerational Indoor Pool, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy.; Heritage Park Aquatic Complex, 310 S. Racetrack Rd.; and Whitney Ranch Indoor Pool, 1575 Galleria Dr.
