Henderson Police Investigating Shooting in Mall Parking Lot

Henderson, Nev. – A 23-year-old Las Vegas man was shot in the parking lot of a Henderson shopping mall Saturday morning after getting into a verbal confrontation with another man.

The 23-year-old man got into a confrontation with another man inside the Galleria Mall. The victim left the mall followed by the suspect. The suspect fired several shots Saturday about 9:40 a.m. at the victim in the parking lot, striking the victim in the arm.

The victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. He was later released from the hospital. No one else was injured.

The suspect fled the parking lot. The suspect has not been apprehended; however, Henderson Police detectives are following up various investigative leads. The victim of the shooting was not cooperative with detectives.

The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
