Underwater Egg Dive Set For April 7

HENDERSON, Nev. – The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its annual Egg Dive, an all-ages underwater egg hunt, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at Whitney Ranch Activity Pool, 1575 B Galleria Dr. Patrons can reserve their spots online at cityofhenderson.com/parks (activity 136700-00) or at any City of Henderson recreation center or indoor pool. Participation is $2-$3 per person.
Dozens of colorful eggs will be hiding along the bottom of the pool. The swimmer who finds the most in each age group wins a prize. Each swimmer should bring a basket to hold all of their eggs.
For the safety of all participants, each age group will “dive” at designated times: babies through age 4, 1:15 p.m.; ages 5-6, 1:30 p.m.; ages 7-8, 1:45 p.m.; ages 9-10, 2:15 p.m.; ages 11-12, 2:30 p.m.; and ages 13 and up, 2:45 p.m. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult within arm’s reach at all times and those requiring lifejackets must have an adult with them in the water.
