UPDATE: Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

Henderson, Nev. – A 24-year-old Henderson man was arrested last week in connection with a robbery of a fast food restaurant.
Bryce Hepler was apprehended Wednesday afternoon as officers spotted him climbing over a wall of an apartment complex on Ramrod Street from a desert area. He was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on a robbery with a deadly weapon charge.
He is suspected of robbing the Subway restaurant, located at 2620 N. Green Valley Parkway, about 2 p.m. on March 2. The suspect sat at a table drinking a soda he brought into the restaurant with him for nearly an hour. He then approached the register to pay for a bag of potato chips.
When the clerk opened the register, the suspect pulled out a handgun. The suspect then reached into the register and grabbed the cash. The suspect then fled the restaurant on foot.
A press release was issued on March 8 seeking information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect.
Hepler is currently being held in the Henderson Detention Center on $45,000 bond.
