Henderson Unveils Spring 2012 Season
Calendar includes nation's largest celebrations, championship competitions & artistic Mother's Day traditions

Henderson, Nev. - The City of Henderson, Southern Nevada’s leader in premier cultural arts and special events opportunities, announced its 2012 spring season schedule today. The lineup features a variety of popular holiday festivities, performances, annual events and art exhibits. All are affordable, most with complimentary admission, and fit for any age.

The exciting calendar includes one of the country’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, as well as several treasured community events, including a special and artsy Mother’s Day weekend tradition. ArtBeat presented by Target, a Friday night concert series, makes its return, offering an eclectic set of entertainers, from ‘80s pop to mainstream country and funk music, for fans to enjoy during the month of April.

In addition, 2012 marks the debut of another world championship sporting competition. For the first time, Henderson serves as host city for the U.S. Open Synchronized Swimming Championship. The international meet showcases over 100 elite synchronized swimmers from across the globe, all competing for national titles.
