Neighborhood Leadership Recognition and Award LuncheonThe Neighborhood Leadership Recognition and Award Luncheon occurs once a year in October from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.- the exact date and location may vary.
The purpose of the award luncheon is to recognize neighborhood groups for their
contributions
to their neighborhoods and the community at large. Those HOA's
and NHA's that go above and
beyond in their efforts to better their neighborhoods will be given special recognition.
Qualifications:
To be considered for an award at the annual Luncheon, a neighborhood member of any HOA or
NHA group; or a Henderson citizen must complete and submit a Neighborhood
Recognition/Nomination Form prior to September 1 of each year.
A neighborhood group can be
submitted and considered as many times as they have an event or an activity that meets the criteria.

2007 Award Recipients:
Green Valley Ranch Community Association
- Provided water stations, first aid stations and volunteers to work the Silverman Triathlon.
Legacy Legends Condominium Association
- Almost half of the units in their complex participated in a community wide garage sale.
River Mountain Ranch Estates
- Manned the aide stations for the Silverman Triathlon. Worked with the River Mountain Loop Trail Partnership, Southwest Gas and the City of Henderson for National Trails clean-up.
