Don't Let Your Landscaper Be a Water
Waster!
Do you
hire a landscaper? If you do - encourage your
landscaper to attend the City of
Henderson’s water conservation class for landscape professionals on March
15, 2010. If your landscaper knows and follows the water
conservation laws you can avoid receiving water waste violations.
The City’s Department of Utility Services will host
this class to
demonstrate how to install and maintain landscaping without breaking water
conservation laws. Information will be presented on the impact conservation
has on our community’s water resources and how being water efficient
benefits homeowners. The class will also contain
information that is useful to landscape company owners, as well as employees who
work in the field.
The class is free to all landscape professionals and
lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to (702) 267-2522 or
deb.barck@cityofhenderson.com.

“GET YOUR GREEN ON” THIS ST. PATRICK’S DAY IN HENDERSON
City celebrates Irish heritage with parade, festival and carnival
The City
of Henderson will host the 44th annual Sons of Erin St. Patrick’s
Day Parade & Festival, March 11-14 in the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S.

"The Sons of Erin is proud to continue its partnership with the City of

“Last year’s event drew over 50,000 attendees and we are looking forward to
increasing these numbers as our festival and parade gets bigger and better
every year.”
A
portion of the proceeds from this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival
