Neighborhood Leadership E-Inform
Neighborhood Programs sends monthly e-newsletters to neighborhood leaders and community managers to keep them up to date on programs, services and upcoming events. Many HOAs include this information in their community newsletters. - Clean up Your Neighborhood (January 2011): Provides information on neighborhood cleanups and City resources that can help.
- State of the City (February 2011): Recap of Mayor Hafen's State of the City address, how to start a Neighborhood Watch.
- Reader's Digest "We Hear You America" Campaign! (April 2011): Reader's Digest presents Mayor Hafen with $1,000 check, list of services available through Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.
- Henderson Shines! (May 2011): Information on Henderson Shines Cleanup and Education Day.

2010): Highlights accomplishments and events from Neighborhood Services,
includes the "Tip of the Month" and information on the Nevada State
Contractors Board public awareness campaign.

October Neighborhood
Leadership Forum (November
2010): Discusses the October NHLF, includes the "Tip of the Month" from
the Henderson Police Department and highlights December events being held by
the Department of Cultural Arts and Tourism.

Community Gardens (October
2010): Highlights community gardens in Henderson, reminds attendees of
the upcoming Neighborhood Leadership Forum and includes a list of upcoming
special events that may impede traffic.

Nomination/Interactive HOA Map (August
2010): Invites neighborhood leaders to nominate their neighborhoods for
an award and introduces the City's new on-line interactive HOA map.
- Safe Summer Nights/Contractor
Board Recommendations (July
2010): Provides recommendations from the Nevada State Contractors board
regarding hiring a contractor and provides information on the City's
Safe Summer Nights event.
- Yucca Mountain
Panel/Upcoming Fire Department Events (June
2010): Invites residents to attend a panel on Yucca Mountain and informs
them of upcoming events hosted by the City of Henderson Fire Department.
- Ends of the Earth Exhibit/SNPLMA
Funding (May
2010): Informs residents of the Ends of the Earth Exhibit at the
Galleria Mall as well as explains the unique funding for the development of
parks and trails.
- Foreclosure Workshop (April
2010): Provides information on an upcoming foreclosure workshop hosted
by the City and also includes information on Office of the Ombudsman
trainings and free car seat check-up event.
- Landscaper Lunch/St.
Patrick's Day Parade (February 2010): Informs HOAs of a water
conservation luncheon being held for landscapers and provides details
on festivities scheduled for St. Patrick's Day.
- Ombudsman Seminars/Helping Haiti (January 2010): Dates for upcoming Ombudsman seminars and advice on giving to disaster victim organizations.

- Trails & Open Spaces
Meeting/Holiday Fire Safety (December 2009): Information on a trails and
open spaces meeting to be held December 8, 2009, and holiday fire safety
tips.
- Silverman
Triathlon (November 2009): Outlines the route of the 2009 Silverman
Triathlon. Also includes information on the Landscaper Lunch hosted by
