Foreclosure Workshop   Office of the Ombudsman The Office of the Ombudsman would like to announce three items of interest to Nevada HOAs: NRS 116 has been updated online. You may find the current law by clicking here.     The Office of the Ombudsman has added dates for education. Upcoming dates can be found here.   For associations in Clark County, the county is considering ordinance changes regarding civil penalties for public nuisances and abandoned properties. An informational meeting was held April 7 at the Government Center and written comments will be accepted through April 19. Neighborhood Leadership Forum Our next Neighborhood Leadership Forum will be held in June. Be on the lookout for your invitation.  Community Building One of our local Henderson neighborhoods was recently highlighted in an article in the Las Vegas Review Journal.  Check it out for some ideas about community building in your own neighborhoods. Free Car Seat Check Up Desert GMC, Safe Kids, Henderson Fire Department and the Henderson Professional Firefighters Union are hosting a free car seat checkup event to learn how to use and install your child's car seat the right way.
