How can I get assistance to purchase a home?
Neighborhood Services administers a program to assist with down payment and closing costs for qualifying applicants when purchasing a home in Henderson. You must have lived or worked in the City of Henderson for one year prior to applying, and you need $1,500 saved to start. Eligibility is based on your income. How can I get home repairs made to my residence?
If you meet eligibility guidelines, Neighborhood Services facilitates both deferred and low-interest loans. Deferred loans have no payments and no interest. The deferred loan amount is repaid when you sell the home or no longer live in it. Low-interest loans from the City are used to "buy down" a bank's interest rate to three percent. The City also has repair grants. Based upon income eligibility guidelines, you may qualify for a grant of up to $2,500 which does not have to be repaid. How do I qualify for the Homeowners Assistance Program?

Where can I get Section 8 rental assistance?
Section 8 list must be obtained through the Housing Authority of Clark County. Call (702) 451-8041 for information.

How do I avoid foreclosure?
Information on avoiding foreclosures can be found at the US Department of Housing & Urban Development site.

How can I get help with a problem I'm having with my landlord?
Contact the Clark County Neighborhood Justice Center at (702) 455-5855 if there are any disputes. If you have questions related to the physical condition of the property, please contact Code Enforcement at (702) 267-3950.

How do I obtain a grant from the City?
Community Development Block Grant funding is available to non-profit organizations. Applications are accepted in September/October each year. Contact (702) 267-2000 for more information.

Where can I get assistance to clean up my yard?
