Program Advisory Committee
The Program Advisory Committee (PAC) is comprised of seven residents from the City of Henderson who are appointed by the Mayor and the City Council. The PAC members review applications and formulate funding recommendations to the City Council for the award of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Applicants can expect to make oral presentations to the PAC as part of the process. PAC recommendations are published in draft form and public comment is invited prior to a public hearing at a City Council meeting to receive the PAC's recommendations. City Council will make the final project award selections for submission in the form of a One Year Action Plan which HUD must approve before final award agreements are executed.
PAC Meeting Agendas
A CDBG PAC agenda is prepared prior to each meeting and lists all items to be discussed at the meeting. Meeting times and dates vary. PAC meetings are held to review CDBG applications per HUD requirements and to make recommendations to the City Council.
PAC agendas are posted at least three working days prior to meeting at the following locations:
