Neighborhood Leadership Forum & Firework Safety
(June 2006): The Neighborhood Leadership Forum is a program to assist
with positive relationship building between local government and
community neighborhood leaders. As part of the City's commitment to
provide vital information, firework safety was included to help keep our

Project GREEN
(June 2006): The purpose of Project GREEN is to preserve and enhance the
natural environment of the Pittman Wash by removing invasive weeds,
re-establishing the native vegetation and habitat and creating
recreational trails for public enjoyment. Committee members, volunteers,
donations and sponsors are needed. Volume I, Issue I.

Nevada State College
(January 2006): The City of Henderson is bringing its first state
college to Nevada, which is anticipated to accommodate over 25,000
students. The college is designing their first new building which is
scheduled for completion for summer or fall 2008.
