CUSTOMER SERVICE COMMENT CARDS

Customer service is the key to success of our organization. How do we know if you are satisfied with the services we provide? We ask you!

We need your feedback to identify areas that need attention or help pinpoint our areas of excellence. Customer comment cards are located at all City of Henderson facilities. Complete a survey and you will be entered to win a family 4-pack of tickets to an upcoming city-produced event at the Henderson Pavilion.

FOOD TRUCKS ARE ROLLING INTO HENDERSON

Get your taste buds ready because we're welcoming food trucks to the Henderson Farmer's Market at the Henderson Events Plaza. Trucks are on site each Thursday from 10am-2pm and will rotate each week. Visit HendersonLive.com for a sample selection of menus. After lunch, browse the Farmer's Market for a selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh baked vreads, salsas, honey and booths with great gift ideas.

SPECIAL BUDGET REPORT

On June 11, 2013, the City Council commissioned the Special Budget Ad Hoc Committee (SBAHC), a community-based group to review the City budget and operations. The SBAHC is charged with providing both short- and long-term recommendations to address the annual structural deficit of $17 million in infrastructure needs, as well as a $2 million operating shortfall.

The SBAHC met a total of nine times between August and December 2013. The SBAHC has completed its charge, and Chairman Tim Brooks and committee facilitator Thom Reilly presented the final SBAHC report and recommendations for the City Council's consideration on February 18, 2014. You can watch their presentation and read the documents related to this committee's findings.
