This area is focused on ensuring the City’s journey to excellence by engendering strong customer partnerships that increase business performance. Because the relationship management (RM) function exists to ensure client satisfaction, it is the charge of the relationship manager capacity to work with clients to procure detailed knowledge of their operations and ultimately be positioned to proactively identify emerging business opportunities for clients. Recognizing their pivotal importance to the organization, DoIT aims to rely on strong, trust-based, mutually beneficial customer relationships as a cornerstone of its business model moving forward.
