SALARY: $9.57/hour

THE JOB: Under general supervision, escorts children across an assigned intersection; controls traffic when children are in the intersection; enforces safety regulations; performs related duties as required. This very important job will only require 3 hours and 45 minutes of your time a day. The hours required for this position are: 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

NOTE: The School Crossing Guard uniform (jacket, hat and rain gear) is provided by the City of Henderson.

REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for satisfactory job performance.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have own transportation to and from work sites. Appointment subject to background investigation and City-paid, pre-employment, post-offer drug test.
