    A Geographic Information System (GIS) can be defined as an organized collection of computer hardware, software, geographic data, and personnel designed to efficiently capture, store, update, manipulate, analyze and display all forms of geographically referenced information.
  • How can I access GIS information for the City of Henderson?
    There are several ways to access a variety of geographic information for the City of Henderson.  We have printable maps, digital data sets and an interactive mapping site. You can get to all of this information by going to www.cityofhenderson.com and selecting "Departments".  Our main page for GIS is located under the "Geographic Information Services" link on the left of the page.
