The City is now a member of an electronic bid
notification program. This service will provide
automatic bid notification and instant access to bid
information via the Internet or fax-on-demand. Vendors
may register on-line at
DemandStar.com
or by requesting a faxed registration form by calling
(800) 711-1712.
Each year the City of Henderson procures millions of
dollars worth of goods and services. Effective January
1, 2002, the City's Purchasing Division will no longer
send bid or addenda notices or furnish complimentary
non-construction bid documents. Bid Notices for
competitive bids exceeding $50,000 ($100,000 for
construction) will continue to be advertised in local
newspapers, on this website, and for construction only,
the bid depositories. Addenda notices will be posted on
this website, and for construction only the bid
depositories. If a supplier does not check for Addenda
notices or register with
DemandStar,
then
bid submitted without Addenda may be considered
non-responsive.
Onvia DemandStar will provide vendors with access to important procurement information. Services that will be available to you include:

You may register for Onvia DemandStar services, online, at www.demandstar.com/register.rsp. If you would like to register for your free notification service of purchase solicitations issued by the City of Henderson through Onvia DemandStar, once you are logged onto the Web page, select the “Onvia DemandStar FREE AGENCY” option. On the form that opens, furnish the pertinent information for your business, be sure to enter “City of Henderson” in the Agency Name field.
Please be aware that vendors will only receive notifications for the specific Commodity Codes that they select. Extra care should be taken in selecting the Commodity Codes to ensure receipt of all the appropriate notifications.
