Labor Market

Business locations in Henderson are accessible to a growing Southern Nevada workforce approaching 1 million that is well positioned to meet the recruiting needs of a variety of employers.  Southern Nevada regularly averages an influx nearly 6,000 people moving into the region on a monthly basis.  From 1990 to 1998, the City of Henderson has been recognized as the nation's fastest growing city by the U.S. Census Bureau.  These statistics bode well for companies evaluating labor availability in the region and long-term expansion possibilities after a new facility has been established.

Quality of life is also an important factor to consider in attracting or bringing key personnel from other locations.  Henderson's outstanding master-planned communities, executive lifestyle amenities, favorable cost of living and low crime rates provide an excellent environment to attract and retain personnel.

Complementing the area's impressive labor force statistics and quality of life are a variety of vocational and technical trade schools, higher education institutions, customized training programs, and proprietary schools to enhance your success in attracting and training initial and future employees.
