The City of Henderson is in its 7th decade as an incorporated city and is developing a Historic Preservation Plan to provide a policy framework to identify and preserve significant historic resources.
The City has a draft plan and is interested in receiving feedback from the public. The draft plan was created using public input gathered over the last year and includes recommendations to promote historic resource preservation where applicable.

A public meeting about the draft plan will be held April 16, 2014, at the Gibson Library located at 100 W. Lake Mead Parkway. The proposed plan is currently scheduled to be heard at the May 15, 2014, Planning Commission and June 3, 2014 City Council meeting.
